Inside This Time is the document of a practice developed by the members of Voices in Motion - a group within Trinity Laban’s Inspired not Tired programme. The film developed out of a practice of using soundwalking as a means to uncover an embodied relationship to our environment. All sound and movement is created by the group working with dance artist Bethan Peters and music artist Natasha Lohan, encompassing vocal improvisations, writings and sound and movement explorations of the feelings engendered by silent group walking in urban spaces. Inside The Time was filmed and edited by Stacie Lee Bennett-Worth and premiered at Lewisham’s Age Against the Machine festival of older people’s arts in Sept 2019.
